Bulldog Volleyball Home Opener is Tonight

Following a hard-fought 3-0 loss in Salisbury to open the 2021 campaign last Wednesday, the Bulldogs host the Hornets in a rematch tonight that also serves as the 2021 home opener for Albemarle.

In addition to being the 2021 home opener, it is also the home coaching debut for head coach Ashley Beck and is the first home matchup for many new Bulldog volleyball players.

While a home volleyball match in the fall represents another return to some form of normalcy following the last year and a half, fans will notice the continuing effect of COVID-19 as everyone will be required to wear a mask while inside the gym.

All tickets for 2021/2022 AHS athletic events are being sold online — you will be unable to purchase a ticket with cash at the gate at any home event this school year.

Tonight’s match-ups start at 5:00pm for the junior varsity and 6:00pm for the varsity.
