Look Back, Look Ahead

Last week two Bulldogs teams got their 2021 seasons started — Bulldog volleyball & Bulldog football.

On Wednesday the Bulldog volleyball team traveled north to Salisbury High School and competed well but ultimately fell to the Hornets in three sets.

On Friday the Bulldog football team went to Thomasville, went blow for blow in the first half, and then fell in the second half.

Both of these two teams, led by youth movements, gained important experience in their first competition of 2021 and now turn to their home openers.

On Wednesday the Bulldogs host Salisbury in both Junior Varsity and Varsity volleyball. JV starts at 5 with Varsity to follow at 6. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased here: VOLLEYBALL TICKETS. No tickets will be sold at the gate.

On Friday the West Stanly Colts will make the cross-county trip over to Albemarle High to renew the rivalry with the ‘Dogs at 7:30 in the Albemarle home-opener. The game on Friday marks the first of 3 consecutive home Friday nights for the Bulldogs. Tickets are $7.00 and you can get them here: FOOTBALL TICKETS. Again, no tickets will be sold at the gate.
