Bulldog Wrestling Welcomes South Stanly, Union Academy
Coming off of a strong showing at the Allegheny Tournament, Albemarle Wrestling has its first home match of the season tonight at 6:00pm.
While the ‘Dogs didn’t get a first place finish at Allegheny, they made it to the top 4 four times.
Miles Gregory claimed second place, Christian Harris claimed third, and Armando Popocoa & Nasir Goode Craig both claimed 4th place.
Such a strong showing in a multi-team tournament bodes well for a round robin match in the conference.
Tonight’s match will feature Albemarle wrestlers versus South Stanly, South Stanly versus Union Academy, and Albemarle versus Union Academy.
The ‘Dogs will have a chance to pick up a couple of region wins tonight right here at home.
